The Human Journey to Union with God

Is Human Life Absurd?

If, as Jean-Paul Sarte said, "There is no ultimate meaning or purpose inherent in human life; in this sense life is absurd." If, however, life truly has a purpose, then somehow through achieving that purpose we must be different at life's end – different from what we were at life's beginning. If at death, we are not different then we will have wasted a life, and truly our life will have been "absurd."

The Purpose of Human Existence

Like Adam and Eve, we were created as unique irrepeatable Human Persons to know, love, and serve God and be happy with Him forever…..

Adam and Eve, in their original state, had gifts that we now lack...

Our Damaged Nature renders us incapable of Union with God...

We must be Changed to be capable of Union with God.

In order to achieve the purpose of our life there must be Change (metanoia)

“Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is A New Creation.” (2 Cor 5:17)
